Walked by @kazosingapore and noticed that that they sell tarts! Hence bought some to celebrate family’s birthday! 🥳🎂

- taro orh nee tart
- lemon meringue tart
- chocolate hazelnut tart

1 for $3.60, 3 tarts for $10.50. Can mix and match the tarts!

Just $3.60 for a tart, for a great afternoon! Tart was filled with bits of Hazelnut with rich chocolate taste too! 🍫

Kazo's polos are honestly some of my absolute favs. The cookie crust is crisp and really fragrant with a buttery, eggy taste to it, and covers the polo well. The bread itself isn't actually bread, but croissant, making this polo super tasty and soft.

The salted egg filling doesn't have a very prominent salted egg taste, unfortunately. It kinda just tastes sweet. However it's still super delicious with a strong buttery aroma. The entire polo bun isn't too sweet and there's a fantastic combination of textures, from the crispy cookie exterior to the soft, flaky layers of the croissant, to the flowy fillings (cream if you choose not to reheat your polo, but why would you not reheat it 😩).

⭐ Rating: 9.5/10 creamy eggs
🤑 worth the price: ye
🦖 would I buy again: yes
💍 would I marry: yesss

This set of orh nee tarts (translated to yam paste tarts) are from their new Plaza Singapura B1 outlet which is having a promo of Buy 2 Get 1 Free. One for $3.60.
This is highly recommended for orh nee lovers.
The tarts are literally filled with orh nee on their very thin and crunchy crust, not sweet at all.
Will definitely come back to buy again and try their other tarts and puffs too.

The huge Polo Bun with custard cream fillings looked pretty impressive, and as I ordered a Golden Lava Polo (S$3.00), I was pleasantly surprised that the staff carefully packed it into the individual plastic box, just to make sure that the snack was adequately protected.

Though the name suggested that it was a Polo Bun, the interior of it was very well-layered with lots of air pockets that reminded me of a croissant. Its Golden Lava was also giving a balanced flavour between sweet and savoury, making it a nice afternoon snack overall.

If there was something that I had really hoped to be better, that could have been the crust, which lacked the usual sugary flaky texture, because this one was kind of soft by the time I brought it home to eat.
