The lady fingers were quite soft and I liked that there's no alcohol in it, but otherwise it was too creamy and there wasn't enough coffee. Felt like I was eating a cake

Despite me thinking that the cream was quite one dimensional in flavour and only seasoned w pepper, the rest seemed to love it. There's mussels and clams inside as well

Really nice tender chicken with a rich dark sauce, accompanied by a myriad of vegetables that were cooked well. Despite the name it actually taste closer to a western chicken chop

Seafood broth wasn't too heavy and quite full of flavour as well, slanting towards the savoury side instead of the sweet. Good amount of shellfish too

End your year with some yummy pasta from Kava Coffee.

Personally, I am a fan of cabonara and when I saw their menu that they serve seafood cream pasta ($14), instantly I am excited to try it.

Both mum and myself were impressed by their pasta as we did not feel sian/ jelat after having a few mouth of it. Moreover, the chef is really generous with the portion of the noodles and the seafood were fresh!

We have recently visited the bistro at XY Hotel Bugis and felt that it is definiely an ideal place to gather with your family/ friends/ colleagues after a long day at work or school, or even just to enjoy your weekends!
XY Hotel is an artistic & tech-centric hotel in Singapore. They have just started a bistro recently which has a cozy and artistic ambience, whereby the guests get to enjoy looking at the different art pieces around.

We have tried XY Hotel Bistro’s dinner set ($21.90++) which comprises of a soup of the day, mains, dessert and drinks (top up $5 for alcoholic drinks)-refer to the menu in my
post.
The chef has put in a lot of effort to prepare the food just to ensure that the food plating and presentation are beautiful, and they also take into consideration to ensure that the ingredients used are fresh and of good quality. During the conversation with one of the chef, we were heartened to hear his passion towards food preparation and that they are constantly exploring and innovating
new dishes. They are also receptive towards ideas and suggestions to fine tune a perfect dining experience for the guests.

Thank you @xyhotelbugis for the invitation and warm hospitality to make us feel as though we are at home and sharing the tasty meal with us🏡 🙆🏻‍♀️. Stay tune to my post next week to find out more about XY Hotel Bugis and my upcoming post to share about my favourite dish 😊. 🏡 XY Hotel Bugis
