Beautiful place to chill but please eat before you come. We thought we ordered dinner but the waiter who brought them explained without prompting that it’s small plates. They must get that a lot. Pricey with tiny portions. That said, the potato nest took quite long to eat so it satiated a bit. $200 for two with drinks. Great ambience though

Came here recommended by my friend and she wanted to try the Nest of Fries ($16++). The fries is bigger than expected and very delicious. I like the presentation of the fries like a tower.

The Unagi Fried Rice ($26++) the ingredients everything is separated for you to mix around according to your preference which is kind of nice. However, I don't taste the wok hey, it taste like normal Unagi rice with teriyaki.

I would come back here just for the Nest of Fries.

The Yuzu Tofu Cheesecake was a standout and took the top spot as a dish that I will order again. Jypsy's version was presented as a dome-shaped "cake" with a wobbly silky smooth texture and a crunchy buttery biscuit base, and drizzled with raspberry sauce. As I took a bite, there was a hidden layer of yuzu sauce that hits you with a citrusy punch and adding to the contrast of flavours already present. Overall an enchanting dessert - light, refreshing and a perfect balance of sweet and tanginess.

A reinvention of Kakiage tempura, this beautiful mess(ive) nest of thinly shredded fried potatoes is drizzled with white truffle oil and teriyaki balsamic sauce. Served with wasabi mayo, the fries were light, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and all in all declious. No doubts an addictive snack to binge on throughout the meal.

Cmi. The sides were as bad as they say, quite meaningless and doesn't go well, apart from the pickles which served to cut the greasiness between bites. Unagi was passable but not special, but the biggest turnoff was the rice which was clumpy and difficult to swallow.

Get the wagyu beef fried rice instead, vastly superior for exactly the same price

The wagyu is legit, not melt in your mouth tender but the bite was pleasant and the flavours are characteristic of tajima wagyu. The rice was no slouch either, contrary to expectations it's very clean tasting and not greasy at all

Worth a try!
