Quite liked the chamomile flavour, it was mellow and soothing. I've never had a chamomile ice cream before. Could see the bits of the chamomile flower in it. It paired well with the honey and subtle sweetness of blue pea. Extra points that it was a pretty colour.

Cold brew coffee w cocoa nibs was alright, the coffee taste was present but not too strong. But I’ve had better coffee ice cream (gelatiamo!!)

Texture can be improved, tho smooth it's kinda thin. But also bc of that it's quite light and not too filling. It'll do on a hot day when I want something cold, and I’ll only visit if I'm around the area, not make a special trip for.

Celebrating Chinese New Year with a festive sweet treat. The Nian Gao Waffles ($6.80) is a waffle-y twist to the traditional rice cake (年糕) where a similar version has the rice cake layered and fried with yam and sweet potato.

This was definitely one of the best waffles I've ever had - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with a layer of sticky sweet middle layer. The soft chewiness of the rice cake added a distinct textural constrast with slight sweetness to it. Atop the waffles is a double scoop ($8) of ice cream comprising of Coffee Cold Brew with Cacao Bits and Earl Grey Lavender. The Coffee Cold Brew ice cream was absolutely delish like having an affogato. It was smooth, rich, creamy with a pronounced bitterness and slight sweetness to it, which paired incredibly well with waffle.

Have been wanting to try the NIAN GAO WAFFLES ($6.80) and it didn’t disappoint! Crispy on the outside with the right amount of sweetness and chewiness inside. Also tried the TIE GUAN YIN ($3.80) ice cream which complemented the waffles and allowed it to shine with its lighter profile, though I’d recommend picking another flavour as it’s nothing too special

The taste of the tie guan yin was discernible, which was unexpected because many places have their tea flavoured ice cream (oolong usually) way too subtle. The truffle chocolate however, was a letdown as it tasted like cheap chocolate / cocoa powder. Texture of both ice creams were okay, it could have been slightly creamier but I’m glad it wasn’t flat and thin. Waffles were okay, it was crisp on the outside. It’s on the more airy side though, I prefer a fluffier waffle. Overall it’s quite average, not bad but also not great.
