Quite liked the chamomile flavour, it was mellow and soothing. I've never had a chamomile ice cream before. Could see the bits of the chamomile flower in it. It paired well with the honey and subtle sweetness of blue pea. Extra points that it was a pretty colour.

Cold brew coffee w cocoa nibs was alright, the coffee taste was present but not too strong. But Iโ€™ve had better coffee ice cream (gelatiamo!!)

Texture can be improved, tho smooth it's kinda thin. But also bc of that it's quite light and not too filling. It'll do on a hot day when I want something cold, and Iโ€™ll only visit if I'm around the area, not make a special trip for.

Celebrating Chinese New Year with a festive sweet treat. The Nian Gao Waffles ($6.80) is a waffle-y twist to the traditional rice cake (ๅนด็ณ•) where a similar version has the rice cake layered and fried with yam and sweet potato.

This was definitely one of the best waffles I've ever had - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with a layer of sticky sweet middle layer. The soft chewiness of the rice cake added a distinct textural constrast with slight sweetness to it. Atop the waffles is a double scoop ($8) of ice cream comprising of Coffee Cold Brew with Cacao Bits and Earl Grey Lavender. The Coffee Cold Brew ice cream was absolutely delish like having an affogato. It was smooth, rich, creamy with a pronounced bitterness and slight sweetness to it, which paired incredibly well with waffle.

Have been wanting to try the NIAN GAO WAFFLES ($6.80) and it didnโ€™t disappoint! Crispy on the outside with the right amount of sweetness and chewiness inside. Also tried the TIE GUAN YIN ($3.80) ice cream which complemented the waffles and allowed it to shine with its lighter profile, though Iโ€™d recommend picking another flavour as itโ€™s nothing too special

The taste of the tie guan yin was discernible, which was unexpected because many places have their tea flavoured ice cream (oolong usually) way too subtle. The truffle chocolate however, was a letdown as it tasted like cheap chocolate / cocoa powder. Texture of both ice creams were okay, it could have been slightly creamier but Iโ€™m glad it wasnโ€™t flat and thin. Waffles were okay, it was crisp on the outside. Itโ€™s on the more airy side though, I prefer a fluffier waffle. Overall itโ€™s quite average, not bad but also not great.

Crisp waffle, interesting ice cream flavours! We ordered the strawberry and the Chrysanthemum and goji berry ice cream. Flavours were good, love their selection of very unique flavours. Would be back!

Note that shop has moved to #01-08.

I travel out of the north quite a fair bit for food usually, but Just Because Creamery is one of the few ice-cream parlours I would most certainly visit if I do have the time to travel out of Woodlands, but just not beyond the realms of Yishun.

Had been visiting them since the days where they were just a hole-in-the-wall shop at Victory8, but the Honey Citron is something that I have skipped having since then considering I have other favourites such as their Black Sesame Soy Milk, Tie Guan Yin and Chrysanthemum with Goji Berry, just to name a few. For a Honey Citron lover like me who seemingly keeps a jar of the said marmalade in the fridge to standby when the craving hits, this was an utter joy to have โ€” think a milk-based ice-cream that is smooth and creamy, yet churned together with honey citron marmalade for that light, zesty, sweetness that is fairly rich, yet surprisingly refreshing especially after a meal; comes full with the fibres of the citron flesh to chew on even. Yet another flavour to add on to the list that I would crave for whilst being here in the future โ€” and almost every flavour here seemingly just hits the spot for me. And that experience has to end with their handmade waffle cones; made fresh in-house daily, these are crisp and lightly buttery, and goes well with any of their ice-cream flavours unlike the trendy herb-infused cones that are rather popular of the late.

Just Because Creamery is pretty much a hidden gem in the north โ€” there are other more established ice-cream parlours around no doubt, but I have always enjoyed how innovative they are with their flavours, and how they are also able to churn out ice-creams that are consistently smooth and creamy, yet refreshing; a plus considering the various zichar establishments around it. No doubt it may be quite a trek for most to give it them a visit, but they are most certainly worthy of making the trip down for โ€” especially given how they have a proper dine-in area ever since their move to another unit within Victory8 several months ago!

Have always been wanting to come ever since it was opened and I finally dropped by this cozy little shop with my family ๐Ÿ’•

Tried Honey Chamolia Blue Pea Flower and Cold Brew with Cocoa Nibs. Was pretty impressed by how strong the flavours were. The waffles were soft and fluffy too. Happy that they included little bits of fruits as well :)

Will be back to try the other flavours!
So happy that there's finally a proper ice cream place near my house ๐Ÿ˜Š

The acai berry banana sorbet cone satisfies my acai craving!
The honey citron was a rich balance of honey, citrus and creaminess.
Cone was light and crispy.
Ill be back for more!

Midweek calls for a dose of ice cream to get through the rest of the working week! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿญ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿญ We chose @justbecausecreamery Baileys ๐Ÿฅƒ and Cookies & Cream ๐Ÿช๐Ÿฅ› atop a super fluffehhh Waffle (Waffle at $6.00/pc), and while the ice cream wasn't mind blowingly creamy nor packed with a strong flavour punch, we thoroughly enjoyed how light and crispy the Waffles were! Also liked how they plated the items with just the right amount of drizzled honey and berries to add to that instagrammable feel, and add a dose of tangy flavours. ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿฏ

In fact, we'd return just for the Waffles alone, and that says a lot cos I reallyyyy love my ice cream and Waffles! ๐Ÿ˜‹โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

Neighbourhood gem!
Tried chrysanthemum goji berry and salted caramel, looking forward to try cold brew with cocoa nibs and chocolate truffle.

Mirror mirror on the wall, whatโ€™s the most desired of them all?

One of my favourite ice cream place. They have since moved to a bigger space, just few units away from the previous spot.

My two favourites were Hazelnut & Cookie n Cream, but recently I tried the Baileys w/ Dark Chocolate Chips and really like it!

I was never a fan of waffle cone but, up till current date, this is the only ice cream place that makes me go back for more. Freshly made, texture was always light & crispy! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Baileys w/ Dark Chocolate Chips $4.10

Back to one of my favourite ice cream parlour.

Waffles comes with perfectly crispy exterior.

Chrysanthemum goji is creamy and well flavoured. Love the addition of goji berries.
However, my Favourite chrysanthemum ice cream still goes to birds of paradise.

Salted caramel was slightly underwhelming. Not too sweet but I would prefer a strong burnt taste.

Another hidden gem in Jalan Legundi which is located right opposite Sembawang Shopping Centre. Their freshly baked waffles are crispy on the outside and fluffy/soft on the inside. Warm waffles pairs so well with their handcrafted ice cream! We tried their cookies & cream and salted caramel flavour. Good flavours, well balanced. They have great ice cream selection so will definitely be back to try their other flavours.

Oh and can I add that their cafe has a really nice ambience? Super lovely and aesthetic decor :-)

Found my favourite ice cream parlour and waffle. Not easy on the wallet but Iโ€™m willing to pay for this quality.

Freshly baked waffle with the perfect ratio of crispy crust to fluffy content inside. I dare say this is the best waffle in Singapore.

Tie Guan Yin and Cold Brew Coffee ice creams are phenomenal. Their ice cream selections are so alluring, I did have some trouble downlisting the 2 flavours.

101% will be back to try every single flavour instore. Just take my money!

Visited Just Because Creamery recently; the hole-in-the-wall establishment at Victory 8 at Jalan Legundi located right opposite Sembawang Shopping Centre had recently just moved into another unit in the same building โ€” quite stoked that I can finally have their ice-creams in a dine-in setting, and with an additional option of choosing to go for a waffle to pair my ice-cream with instead of the usual waffle cone or cup choices; patrons will also be able to order tea or specialty coffee alongside their ice-cream orders now too.

Have been here enough times to say that their ice-creams are pretty stellar, and glad to say that their waffles holds up well to the ice-creams that they have to offer โ€” the waffles are light, airy and crisp; pretty fragrant without being too dense which was very delightful to have. The Black Sesame Soy Milk ice-cream comes with a roasty note that is surprisingly not too heavy in its flavour nor gritty in terms of texture โ€” very smooth and creamy for a flavour involving black sesame for how well-balanced it is with a clean finish. The Chrysanthemum with Goji Berries on the other hand comes as pretty light and refreshing; that floral aroma lightly perfumes throughout every scoop, creating a flavour similar to that of unsweetened chrysanthemum tea that is bright and soothing while the Goji berries comes with a slight, earthy sweetness that provides some contrast โ€” liked how the Goji berries are churned into the ice-cream which somehow alleviates the issue where the Goji berries would turn out icy given how ice-creams would need to be stored in the freezer which seems to be a rather common problem with the renditions of the same flavour that we have had. Kudos to them also pairing the waffles with a drizzle of maple syrup and chocolate on the side โ€” a classic combo that no doubt reminds us of another creamery in the island, but also one combo that will never fail to satisfy.

Congratulations to the folks at Just Because Creamery for the opening of their bigger premises at Victory 8; dining-in here is something I have been looking forward to and I will be back!

๐Ÿ’ธ: $4.50

A little cosy space where yummy flavours could be found. Not too sweet ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
I dont think the butterfly pea flower adds any flavouring besides the colour. A natural blue - i like ๐Ÿ˜Š

My current favourite ice cream shop, i go as often as once every week. I donโ€™t like ice cream cone but theirs changed my mind.

Enticed by this petite cafe with minimalist decor and familiar yet interesting flavors one evening, I got myself a single scoop of Honey Chamomile & Blue Pea Flower at a decent price of $3.50. With tinges of chamomile and subtle sweetness from the honey, my senses were pleasantly piqued from this lovely touch to the end of my day. Highly recommended if you reside at this area!

A cozy hole-in-the-wall creamery that serves handcrafted ice cream made in small batches. With a variety of flavours to choose from, there is certainly something for everyone.

With a recent craving for blue pea infused stuffs, I decided to go for this and it didnโ€™t disappoint at all!
