This is originally a Burmese dish. In Burmese language, Khao means ‘to knead’’, and Soi means ‘to stretch’. Not to be interpreted in Thai which would be ‘rice street’, which doesn’t make sense. Yet it’s very popular here in Chiangmai and very delicious- curry chicken noodles. It’s topped with crispy fried noodles.
