Taking some time out of my busy CNY shopping and preparation, to indulge in my favourite pastime — eating🍴.
An unexpected discovery of this delightful fried Hokkien noodles infused with rich and sweet prawn stock as well as ample wok hei [a.k.a. breath of wok] @ a Hainanese chicken rice eatery today! 🫶🏻
We also ordered plates of their signature steamed chicken. The chicken meat was tender and moist, however the jiggly gelatin-like texture layer under the skin was lacking.

Forgettable.
A chicken rice brand I have reservations about. This time, it's the portion, which is tiny. Meatballs in soup was out of the norm.
Another long time Hainanese Chicken Rice restaurant, not as famous as Boon Tong Kee or Tian Tian but serves not only Hainanese Chicken Rice but also Hainanese Zi Char. So besides chicken, we also ordered Hainanese Chap Chye and pork chop. Delicious.
Petty good chicken, rice and excellent chilli .
Portions a little small though for the price 🥰
