I saw other reviews raving about the pork chop but I think it wasnā€™t good.
1) it was so so so small and thin. I was shocked!
2) meat was hard and had no pork taste
3) it was salty for me
La la pasta was okay but not fantastic. Thankfully I used Burpple, but honestly it was one of my worst Burpple experience

The food was so disappointing. We ordered pork chop (hard and small, different from the menu), crab pasta, Tom yum pasta, prawn paste chicken (small), cheese sticks, Thai Pandan chicken ( small and slightly undercooked and doesnā€™t even taste slightly like Thai Pandan chicken). Even though I had the 1-1 burrple deal, I was unable to use it as they mentioned that as they were full and we canā€™t use it. Shortly after we finished our sides, the waiter came to us with the bill without us asking for it. He told us that as someone else wants the table, and we would need to vacate the table becoz we were not ordering anymore. So I asked if I were to order something I can stay? He said yesā€¦ I meanā€¦ we ordered much more food than other tables that just ordered drinks and he just chase us out. I wouldnā€™t come back again even I can use the 1-1 deal.
Overall, i would rate 1/10 for this place and food.

Second time revisiting Jarrellā€™s Bistro. Ordered different dishes this time, and had the La La Pasta ($21) and the Peppa Pig pork chop ($21). Pork chop came with sweet potato fries, which we really enjoyed! Key takeaway was the La La pasta, which felt like a take on curry/Mala pasta with La La to add the slight seafood flavour. Imagine mala, but instead of å°č¾£, you get the curry kick. Itā€™s a tolerable spice level, really enjoyable. Would return for the La La pasta and sweet potato fries!

Atmosphere and decor of Jarrell's Bistro felt kind of odd, a sort of dissonance among the hip and trendy establishments along Telok Ayer Street. Was kind of hard to get the staff's attention too, and do note if you want to use Burpple Beyond you'll have to email them (read the terms!).

Food-wise, their pasta offerings looked very unique, and we settled for the Oriental Karikinos (Chilli Crab) Pasta as well as their Peppa Pig (Cajun Pork Chop). Chilli Crab Pasta was quite good and there were a substantial amount of crab chunks. Felt it wasn't as spicy as other reviews say but different tolerances perhaps. The pork chop was tender but otherwise forgettable.

The sweet potato fries that came with the Pork Chop were limp and not as crispy as I liked, though the curry-ish sauce that came with it was quite delectable. We also ordered the Prawn Paste Chicken and those were decent as well.

Overall, it came up to about $42 in total (with burpple) for 2 mains, a side, and a can of ginger ale. Will I go back? Maybe to try the other pasta, but not really a place I'll bring friends to chill at.

Dropped by on a Thursday night with three of my friends. We had the (1) Minotaur burger (2) District 9 pasta (3) crommyonian sow pasta (4) peppa pig pork chop.

Pork chop was (according to my friend) really distinct, the sauce gave a very good balance to the pork flavour. Sweet potato fries were a plus point!

Would describe the District 9 pasta asā€¦ a unique combination between a chicken curry noodleā€¦ and a laksa sort of coconut-filled brothā€¦ with squid ink spaghetti and HUGE prawns. (Prawns really not kidding.)

I personally had the Minotaur burger - huge serving, bound to be full! I found the kicap manis sauce wasnā€™t too strong, and didnā€™t add too much additional flavour to the burger. Fries were done well!

Definitely will be returning to try their č¾£č¾£ pasta and would wanna try the pork chop for myself. Service staff was friendly, easy to make a reservation, and vibes are good for a chill place to have a date or just drink with friends. (Plus point: my friend had a Guinness and it was topped off withā€¦ latte art?? Hahaha)

Paid a total of $61.20 for my four mains + one Guinness. Definitely worth to return to bistro, and flavours are good too! Would recommend.
