Spanking new Korean Chicken (and burger) place in Serangoon Gardens! Do try the soy flavored Chicken if you only have tummy space for 1 flavor... otherwise, knock yourself out with their many different flavors!

I like hash brown a lot, as well as chicken. My first time trying out their chicken n I select garlic Soy. $7.90 for small portion of chicken tender, add $3.50 for hash brown n drink. It taste not bad, I will like to taste other flavor on my next visitπŸ˜‹

Relatively new place along the β€œouter” units of Westmall facing the Bukit Batok MRT. The nice uncle was friendly and kept urging us to try the generous samples of fried chicken and hash-browns that he brought out when he spotted us scanning the menu.

I think he mentioned the brand was from Korea if i remember correctly cos I was kinda busy sampling πŸ˜„ I tried the Original flavour and it was really good but cos we already knew what it tasted like, the sister and I went for the sweet & spicy and garlic soy to share instead. I really like the garlic soy as well but felt the sweet & spicy version was a little drowning in the thick sauce. Was really surprised that the sides came in such big portion too. For $7-$8 per set, you get a bowl of huge chicken chunks (no bones! πŸ‘πŸ»), generous serving of sides (we topped up $0.50 for the hash-browns) and a drink. Worth it! πŸ‘πŸ» There are rice options too if you want something more filling.

Happy to have spotted this and will definitely be back to try the other flavours πŸ˜‹

In a hawker centre where the main attraction is the chicken rice or prawn noodles, ICG is a little at a disadvantage being a new kid on the block. It holds its own though, in terms of food quality and service.

I had the spicy tongsal chicken burger that looked like a cross between KFC's Zinger and McDonald's McSpciy. I liked the spicy mayo sauce and chilli inside the burger. The chicken patty was juicy and crispy, and I was sorry when the batter finished.

Tater tots were crispy as they should be, but not the main attention grabber.

Do give ICG a try!

Had carbs for breakfast(bowl of fruits) and now having protein for lunch. So I shall just have fats for dinner. Maybe ice cream? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ (Don't try this at home. Performed by trained professional.) 🍴
Jokes aside. I must say it's fancy to have Korean fried chicken in a hawker centre and the taste of the chicken has been more attuned to Singaporean taste. The owner was friendly and gave me several diff flavours to try before I made my choice. Check out that glistening sweet garlic sauce that went well w the crunchy batter and moist tender chicken. Though the batter was so crunchy that my jaw got a bit tired after that. πŸ˜…

So I saw fellow Burppler Zi Heng's post last night; thought it would be a good idea to check out this spot during my lecture breaks today. Coming in Medium and Large bowls, the Medium comes with around 10 chunks of boneless chicken chunks. The chicken chunks were surprisingly crisp and flavourful; really succulent and drenched in a rather liquid but interesting sauce. Sure, the consistency of the sauce itself wouldn't allow for that thick sauce coating on the chicken itself, but for the parts that absorbed the sauce, it brought up this interesting fusion flavour that's probably identical fusing raw onions with Thai Chili sauce less the spiciness. Considering it being just a hawker stall and serving this for $7.50, it's actually pretty worth trying with a group if you are hanging out in he area.
