😍😍😍 The bao is so soft & fluffy while the bbq pork was oozing with flavours & sweetness without too much fatty meat. Pretty generous fillings too 👍

Can't help but da bao additional back 😁😁😁 Broke my heart to read that they will be closing soon... Will miss this!!

We lived closed by and my parents would eat here diligently every Saturday morning (alternating with that defunct Chinatown Uncle dim sum place along Smith Street). I loved it, thin skins, meaty fillings and a savoury taste that was made better with the house made chilli. I was brought up by a Cantonese nanny so what she couldn't make in my flat, I supplemented with Hua Nam. When I was in primary school, I used to eat here diligently after Saturday ECA as I had to walk out from Sin Ming to take the bus. Over the years, I have brought many people here regardless of how unglamorous it was; I am sad to see it go. I am just glad that I had 1 last chance to whack my first ever dim sum dish... 😁 nostalgia much. 😢

This store has been around since the 50s & exudes the old school charm with signages, it's outlook & simple comfort food items such as dim sum.
Not necessarily the best available around, but it's an affordable pick me up whenever the cravings come by.
Quick go grab a bite before they officially close!

The old school Cantonese restaurant would be closing at the end of the month. No wonder it was packed during weekday lunch.
Felt the egg tart could have been better if baked slightly longer. Crumbly with smooth silky filling.
Uncle was a tab too busy to give a breakdown but was charged total S$24.40 for all including the iced tea.
Was lucky to grab the last 2 pieces of char siew buns which was so sweet and fluffy.

The hor fun was submerge with savoury gravy that wasn't too salty nor bland. Kway teow texture was slightly chewy. Served with slices of tender pork, sotong and vegetables , really satisfying!
