Pretty nice but I don't find it as nice as Tsujiri's personally! The tea taste isn't as strong! I really like the biscuit tho! It's kinda like a love letter! You can have the option of drizzling it with Nutella instead but I prefer to taste the matcha on its own 😊 it was $5 I think? Pretty pricey but anything for a good matcha fix 🍵🍵🍵
Was quite skeptical when I heard of this at first, but upon drinking realised that it wasn't as bad as expected :D slightly on the sweet side (but i have a low sugar tolerance for drinks) and overall felt that the matcha overpowered the houjicha. Though not very balanced, but the flavours complimented each other well! (:
Yey! Definitely a heaven for those who enjoy the bitterness of matcha. 😘

What's unique about this matcha soft serve is that it is sweet and savoury at the same time. Topped with crispy seaweed and buckwheat puff
Topped with toasted buckwheat puff, wasabi furikake & crispy seaweed. The matcha serve was very distinct in Matcha flavour, and is definitely not as sweet as normal soft serve out there. 🍵
If you like something more towards the bitter side from the matcha taste. This is for you 👍🏻
Located at 313 Orchard, it will cost you around $5.20 per soft serve! 💸

Matcha Houjicha Latte ($5.50)
When you can't decide whether to have matcha or houjicha, why not have both then?
A good combination in one drink. @hvala_sg never disappoint with it's new creation💚🍵💚
New items on the menu. Do check it out! 😊
Uji-matcha soft serve ($5.70 with cone) was pleasantly bittersweet and smooth, topped with messy Nutella that gives a bit of sweetness (you can opt for the biscuit if nutella's not your thing BUT WHY). The cone was light and delicate, but sadly wasn't fragrant.
I do love matcha and I do love ice cream but this bitterness was unexpected when I wanted some dessert. This matcha Bella ($7.80) is creamy thick soft serve that's matcha bitter. They recommend the puffle (+ $3) if you're sharing. The nana slice 🍌 with torched granules of brown sugar and the almond choc sticks were a brief relief. From middle down is where it got weird with a layer of pasty azuki. Peanut hazelnut spread does not fuse well with this one. It's better with the vanilla soft serve, which though a tad sweeter, was very bland. As you hit the bottom, the sweetness of bits of mushy caramelized nanas mutes some of the bitter. Maybe it's just not my thing 🤷🏻♀️
The group of us went to Andiamo at Orchard Gateway for a scoop of pistachio gelato which was 😋 milky and flavourful.
Matcha soba ($5.20)
Topped with toasted buckwheat puff, wasabi furikake & crispy seaweed. The matcha softserve is very smooth and creamy with a very distinct rich matcha flavour and lingering bitterness taste on the palate that i like. Totally my kind of softserve as it is not too sweet. Definitely an interesting twist with a sweet & savory balance.
Tried the tsuba parfait with egglets and Nutella drizzle ($10.70) and the Nutella matcha combination was super bomb. Matcha soft serve here is creamy but light which was perfect with the accompaniment of chewy egglets and sweet Nutella! I personally prefer the rich matcha soft serve flavour from matchaya tho!
"How is it that I took so long to try this gem of a creation?!", screamed the voice inside my head when I first tasted this soft serve-meets-eggette treat. Inspired by Oddies Foodies, no doubt, but delicious all the same with its own innovative spin.
Matcha Soba ($5.20 in cup) is the current rotating flavour, and I sure hope it becomes a permanent one. The earthy matcha fragrance, softened by lush milkiness, left behind an alluring trace of bittersweetness that made me yearn for more. This flavour comes with a sprinkle of dried buckwheat puffs that added a lovely toasty flavour. My other choice of adornments include the yuzu jelly, adzuki, and Gula Melaka sago (all at $1 each), which formed a nice combination, except for the latter which was muted out by the potent matcha-ness.
Also praiseworthy was the Puffle ($3), which remained crisp even after awhile, with soft mochi-like pockets imbued with cinnamon, a characteristic that sets it apart from the HK eggette. My choice of complimentary sauce was speculoos, which of course, makes everything even better. ❤️
Finally tried this dessert that was pretty much in trend a while ago! Tastes not too bad but it was pretty messy to eat it 😅 Worth a try but it really is too much to just have the whole thing to yourself
Unique flavour with a light matcha taste while the soba was less distinct. I was expecting to taste the real soba noodles, but it wasn't that strong 😹. So many green food in Singapore, are you turning green yet? 💚
Sitting in the train
Racking my brain
My brain juice drained
My words strained
My heart in pain
My world slain
It's a chain
My life you stain
Never meeting again
I have more to gain.
