($4.20) I managed to buy their scone from last year's taka booth. hmmm it's kinda hard for me but then still not that bad with red bean filling inside. But it's not best to reheat since the scone usually dry and hard texture so it better to eat on the day on itself.

With good coffee and desserts, Humble Bakery is one place to come for when you are in the CBD area!

For coffee we had the Iced Mocha ($6) and it was stellar. With strong aromatic coffee and good quality dark chocolate, this mocha wasn't too sweet and it tasted decadent! It was a big cup as well and we thoroughly enjoyed the drink.

For desserts we had the Injeolmi Crumble Cake ($8) and the Brownie ($4). The Brownie wasn't much to shout out about, but the Injeolmi Crumble cake was so good! Soft moist cake was stuffed full of injeolmi cream that was not too sweet and had a good soy bean flavour. It was comes with a tteok within, which had a wonderful chewy texture. Very lovely cake!

Can't wait to be back! I'm already missing the mocha 😍

🍞Matcha Red Bean Scone

Was drawn to this scone because it contains a piece of brown sugar mochi! The scone is buttery and crumbly with a strong matcha taste while the red bean is super natural and earthy. Personally preferred the taro mochi one but this was really nice too.

🍞Taro Mochi Scone

First scone I tried from @humblebakery.sg and it was great! Really buttery and the taro filling was natural and earthy, not too sweet. The mochi was really stretchy and chewy too.

The price is a little on the higher end but its really unique, dont know where else I’d be able to find mochi scones.

The peanut Scones reminds me fondly of our local delight, muah chee! Light, slightly crumbly and totally irresistible, the scones belie the simplicity of their ingredients. I enjoyed the buttery fragrance that comes with every bite, and the crunch that the chopped peanuts lends to the chewy scone for a change in texture. I feel they are a perfect pairing with hot chocolate, tea, or coffee, whichever hot beverage that you fancy. β˜•οΈ

These scones are delicious 3 bite treats, or lesser, if you stuffed them in, but good things are meant to be slowly devoured 😌 An ideal complement to your midday break, you'll find these treats a delight, without feeling a heavy food coma attacking you once you're done with it and back to work.⁣

Orh Nee Mochi has got to be my favourite in the mochi series! Yam and butter play off each other in this scone, which manage to be light and decadent at the same time. Every mouth promises a myriad of flavours and textures, thanks to the buttery crust, subtly sweet and smooth yam paste along with a chewy, stretchy mochi. Heat it up for the best experience, which had me devouring them one after another in quick successions πŸ‘…
