Hailing from Hong Kong, Hui Lau Shan sells various types of mango-based desserts. We got the signature item on the menu, which is the mango triple delight consisting of: (1) mango ice cream, (2) chunks of mango and (3) mango puree! Mango was really sweet and it was definitely a great dessert - would be looking forward to trying their other desserts that combine mangoes with other items, so that we don't overdose on mangoes!

We were waiting outside the shop for some time but no one was attending to us, even though there are 2 empty tables presumably because it’s dinner time.

After waiting for some time and still nobody is attending to us, and there were empty tables, we walked in and took a seat at one of the tables.

Then a tall male staff came walking in and started screaming at us in front of all other customers asking if we had done safe entry (which we did and showed him). Yet he continue to be rude and scolded us for not waiting outside to be seated, and claimed that they were busy!

The store is relatively new, but features a perpetual queue! The also sell out rather early, so I’d suggest dropping by before 9 pm. The mango coconut ribbon ($5.90) features a medley of mango cubes, mango ice cream and sheets of coconut jelly! I thought the coconut balanced the sweetness really well. Enjoyed it lots and am looking forward to try more :-)

Most people would recommend the chewy balls, but i felt it was quite ordinary since its essentially tapioca balls. (Good for bubble tea fans though)

Would recommend the pop pop option instead, which is mango with mini yoghurt balls which are bursting with flavour.

Very refreshing dessert, liked the fact that they did give chunks of fresh mango instead of using mango essence.

They also have a trio option so you can try the different types of desserts.
