The latest installation by Mixes from Mars, Hopscotch is a craft cocktail bar tucked within the clandestine courtyard of former traffic police headquarters, Red Dot Traffic. While preserving its local elements, Hopscotch ventures deeper into modern techniques with her fancy gadgets and exciting flavour pairings with her quirky infusions and tinctures. Expect also no less of Hopscotch with her succinct but comprehensive range of Scotch whiskies for the Scotch enthusiast and beer for the hops addict. From a new menu styled after Hong Kong’s cha chaan tengs, order from a range of cocktails made for everyone. With a Grape Yakult-inspired cocktail, Asian twists on classic tipples, and even a durian-infused number and more, there's bound to be something for adventurous drinkers and jaded locals alike!

the baby back ribs, i have to say, were yummy. The flavour was great and the meat was so soft that it practically slid off the bones. It also went perfectly with the achaar and crackers on the side. The lobster chilli pasta we tried was nothing to write home about, but it was satisfactory. On a side note, the service at the restaurant was great. However, we did get startled a couple of times when bugs from the nearby fields flew in and landed on us. worth a try!

Great place for groups! The outdoor seating can accommodate for groups 8-12 with reservations made. Food is good, and happy hour is even better! Great that it's about 5mins walk from Alexander Retail center.

First time at Hopscotch! My friend and I decided to give it a try after getting burpple. We shared the fish & chips and the XO sticky back ribs. The ribs were flavourful and slid off quite well from the bones, though it would be nicer with more sauce. Both dishes were quite dry and were not hot / warm when served, which made the whole eating experience not so ideal. Overall, the ambience is nice - we sat outdoors where there was a nice breeze.


Sous vide chicken thighs with chestnut & a medley of mushrooms, oven roasted, glazed with plum vinegratte and grilled. Served with savoury garlic mash, fried shallots & dusted with plum powder

Food: Delicious, the meat was tender and full of flavour and the mash with shallots were good!
Ambience: more of an outdoor setting with some music and dim lighting
Wait time: 🟠 (took a while)
Price: $24

Used burpple beyond 1 for 1, which is value for money!

The wagyu beef burger is edible but not fantastic. The fries is good though. However the baby back ribs is horrible. Meat is soft and tender but totally tasteless. The portion is small too. Definitely will not go back again.


Damn good la ngl but $30 a bit painful for a broke student like me hahahahaha. The mash potato was delicious BUT the portion was like very small it was more for decoration so as a main itself it’s not very filling. The meat with the mushrooms on top were excellent, for the most part the medium rare meat was tender and juicy. Only one part of the steak was slightly dry and difficult to chew but overall no regrets.
