This branch in Punggol is fast becoming one of our go to Zichar eatery in the North-east. The dishes are generally not too bad, and we always order the XO Fish Soup too. This Prawn Paste Chicken is very crispy, and those crumbs are so addictive. Happy dinner everyone!
These chicken wings definitely look funky 🤗
and different from the traditionally cooked ones but I must say that the Chef did a pretty good job because the chicken wings were moist and juicy and the golden crispy bits added a fun touch to the dish.
Passed by this Hong Kong street eatery quite a couple of times and was quite curious how different this was from the other Hk street restaurants . There are so many HK street xx ji eateries around - I can’t tell for sure which is from where and which are the better ones .
This San Lau hor fun ( stir fried rice noodles with fish and bean sprouts ) had a good wok hei and was seasoned just right . However, the portion was a little small and the beans sprouts were a little overwhelming .
How I like my sweet & sour pork – tender nuggets of meat coated in a gnarled, crispy batter, glazed in a tangy sauce chockful of charred pineapple.
Taste: 4/5
Often bland, our egg drop sauce was seasoned just right. The big chunks of century and salted egg made the egg fan in me very pleased.

Fresh, plump oysters covered in a sweet sambal sauce laying heaped unceremoniously on a bed of fluffy egg omelette is a sight(and taste) I’ll never get tired of.
