Pan seared cod fish topped with asparagus, julienne of leeks and chili, shimeiji mushrooms and bed of white sauce. The entire dish is Asian influenced, the sauce was slightly greasy but fish was cooked perfectly and translucent. Probably the downside was under season and portion was quite small. RM80 per serving.
The RagoĂťt, stewed beef in cream sauce with onions and mushrooms was slightly tangy with hint of citrusy lemon. The combination with big penne pasta was surprisingly palatable. Highly recommended.
When I read âHerb Crustedâ on the menu, I was expecting some scallops wrapped with crispy herb crust. Was slightly disappointed with how they looks. Canât deny the scallops were cooked perfectly but the powdery âherb crustâ doesnât do wonder to it. Paired with mushy peas, segments of orange and beetroots . The entire dish was lacking of wow factor. RM42 per serving was slightly steep.
The good olâ wild mushroom soup topped with bits of croutons and chopped parsley was tasty. Not to forget the drizzles or truffle oil made it taste much better. I do find the soup was slightly over seasoned but pair it with a house bun roll would be better option. RM28 per serving.
Roasted Honey Beetroot Salad. I would expect more Beetroot than leave greens topped with with feta, slices of Beetroot, carrots, walnuts and balsamic reduction. On the menu it says with dried cranberries but I hardly find traces of them. Overall the salad was refreshing but ainât much to shout. RM35 per serving.
