From the fish to the spicy soup, quite basic. Noodles as usual were dependable.
My go-to place for authentic la mian. It's also uncommon to find these nuggets paired with noodles. This was delicious overall but left my head drenched in sweat.
The xiao long bao is good and cheap too! The portion of meal and broth is just nice!
The pork ribs is well flavored and tender! The noodles is a bit bland though!
Opened by ex- Din Tai Fung chef, this hole in a wall stall serves Din Tai Fung-level dishes at half of Din Tai Fung’s prices. We loved the soup dumplings, fried gyoza and the scallion noodles. The whole meal cost only $24 for 2 pax. #hiddengem
From Hao Wei Lai at Friendship Food Court within Peace Centre; the food court is the small one located just at the junction of Wilkie Road and Selegie Road that is facing Wilkie Edge.
This isn't really something on the menu; it's a mash-up of two items that I requested as a special order because I couldn't resist that pan-fried pork rib yet wanted a bowl of dry noodles instead of a bowl of soup noodles (quite obviously not the first person who tried ordering this considering how they were quick to register my order). Overall pretty decent; noodles came with a soft bite tossed in a savoury sauce that gives it just a good amount of flavour — pork ribs were tender, though felt like it could have been more flavourful. Still, a decent eat at $4.50.
