One of the largest Farmers market event in town from 7th to 8th July only 😊
And yes - when I proceeded to pay - I was told that this meal is free because the owner of green dot was present at that moment and the meal was complimentary 😊
So generous and so giving.
Of course - the food was really nice too.
Creamy pumpkin well stewed with a flavourful vegetable curry and sautéed broccoli.
So comforting for the yummy and for the wallet !

The sprout Farmers market certainly did not disappoint and one of the interesting discoveries I had was this stall selling handmade paos near the dining / sit down area .
Handmade high quality Wu ting paos boast of a fluffy pau skin made of high quality flour and high quality ingredients. Heard that this pao is is for the high grade officials in china - so it has to be good .
Indeed , the paus were moist , had a good bit and were absolutely delicious - especially the preserved vegetables ones ( mei cai Gan baos).
They were so good - I bought 2 packs back home .
Now only available via redmart after the fair but you will soon see them setting up shop in Singapore 😊
For four days from 14-17 June, Chillax Asia is having a food convention at Suntec! One of the stalls there is First Brew, a stall promoting healthy eating. I’ve never had overnight oats that tasted this good before. The oats were soaked in their Chia Seed Almond Plus drink, which has a really nice aromatic almond taste. It’s not too sweet and just right, and can be drunk on its own or added to make oats.
I tried their black sesame drink too and it was really good, will definitely stock up on these so I can make oats myself at home!
