Love this meatful dinner!
Went for the Australia Wagyu Buffet ($69.80++) for dinner with my partner & it was AMAZING 🤤 drinks are not included so we got the $1 free flow green tea as well (we really liked the tea because tastes like green + rice tea). They have a 90min eating time, which is sufficient if you are not a huge eater. We ate until we were super full and had one cup of complimentary ice cream at the end (can choose from chocolate, vanilla, matcha and mango), which was a lovely icing on top of the cake! 🥩🍨🍵

ordered 2 of the same platter and a pancake. the meat was alright, i’ve had better ones! pancake arrived rather cold, and wasn’t as crispy as expected.
Have been to the CHIJMES branch twice, and UE square once. So far the CHIJMES experience twice was both positive experiences 😀
Highly recommend the $89++ buffet set, as it comes with free flow of Japanese Karubi wagyu, which was super juicy, smoky, and tender after the charcoal grill! Please do get the cross cut Karubi, as it was the tenderest out of the selection in our opinion.
Icecream gelatos after the meal was very good as well 🍦, especially the matcha flavour.
The girls and I coordinated our off days to visit gyu kaku for their lunch sets. And this... reminded me of why I can never be a vegetarian. 😂 even though we didn’t get the wagyu cuts, the regular beef set was already bursting with beefy, fatty flavour. The karubi was especially well marbled throughout and melted as I chewed it, while the other cut had more of a bite. The sizzle of each slice of beef as it touched the grill was music to my ears, a joy to hear.
Loved the service and quiet weekday vibes as well, the place should be safe from covid 😂
Oh, they also have assorted weekday lunch promos which change daily! we managed to get a free side dish as we visited on a Monday. Do check their website for more info.
