Another Singaporean caifan bites the dust, replaced by a cookie-cutter stall. Cereal chicken, brinjal with long beans, hae bee hiam. I don't know how this added up to $5.50. Furthermore, the hae bee hiam is like two spoonfuls, while the brinjal was four pieces. They did make up a bit with the amount of chicken.
Anyhow try, but good leh.
Can barely see the prawns cos it's really tiny but the noodle seasoning and soup is quite impressive
Curry chicken, curry vegetables and curry on rice haha. The curry chicken at this old-school stall is very old-school.
Decided to give them a second chance after the owner contacted me apologetically. Again, they had sold out what I wanted, so went with this. Overall, still could be better. Chicken, although juicy, would've benefited from longer cooking. Mushroom sauce was terrible. Lastly, I think this would be more popular if the rice was flavoured and not plain.
Everything was average here, although the giant cutlet deserves a shout-out. They drizzled the mayo on the box - don't ask me why.
