Ordered a set meal for 2. The food that we had gives you a sense of home despite being in the middle of the city. Just perfect for an evening spent with family.

I bought the groupon voucher for grandma's, comes with 3 dishes, 2 rice and 2 drinks. The service was bad, all 3 staff who ushered us in, took our order and served food were lousy however the fact that food was served relatively quickly gave it some cookies points.
Food wise was pretty average, the broccolli was quite oily, but the honey chicken was good.

My #cheatweekends started last evening! Been craving for assam fish head for the longest time. So happy that I have got my cravings fixed yesterday. The assam fish head (S$ 34.90) was delicious and very meaty too! We ordered beef rendang (S$ 13.90) and 2 coconut rice (S$ 2.50 each). Total bill was S$ 63.30 inclusive 10%svc and 7% gst. #burpple #burpplesg #cheatweekends

Trying it for the first time here 'cos it's not commonly found even in Peranakan restaurants. Not a must try but can try for the novelty.

Filled with chunky fish and rich coconut aroma, this Malaysian version of the popular Southeast Asia steamed fish pate dish is nothing more you can ask for. Infused in coconut milk, flour, fish paste and spices (such as chili, lemon grass), variations of otak otak can be found in Thai, Viet, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore by varying the composition of these ingredients to produce it at differing texture/consistency and flavours.
