Duck was tender but quite dry and the skin is crispy.
As for the sides there were potato rosti and garden vegetables.
The rosti goes really well with the sauce. Taste like a very good hashbrown poutine.
The garden vegetables consist of celeries, carrots, zucchini, cauliflower and broccoli. Vegetables are good except for the carrot which is towards the hard side.
Overall, the dish was okay and would be better if it was served with more sauce.

Love the Alfredo pasta.
I have higher expectations for alfredo/carbonara dishes and many restaurants made the pasta to be very ‘Jelak’ and overpowering of cream.
Sauce is good probably because the cream is finely blend with cashew nuts.
They are very generous with the amount of chicken placed in the dish.

One of the better Fish & Chips made.
The portion is huge with 2 large pieces of deep fried red snapper. Batter goes really well with the tartar sauce.
The fries is well seasoned and addictive.
Unsure what to order? Just go for the fish & chips!

Food quantity is small but not bad if 1 f 1. Beer good.

Went out of the way on a Saturday to this obscure location and was told that as it was eve of public holiday, I cannot use the burpple promotion. This doesn’t make sense, as before I left my house I could click on the app and click ‘redeem deal’. Given that although the PH was on Sunday but the PH OIL was on Monday, this would mean that the deal can’t be used on all 3 days. Additionally, the rules says that deals can’t be used on PH eve after 5pm.

Honestly I’m not sure who is at fault. Either way this place was also extremely difficult to find and the whole stretch was virtually empty even on a weekend lunch time. Like literally there was nobody in this cafe/bar and hardly anyone in the preceding shops.

my family and I loved our experience at gone rouge brewing very much! we had duck confit, fish and chips, GR nachos and chicken veloute using burpple 1 for 1 and a flight of 4 beers. our favourites were the fish and chips which was made with red snapper which gave it a tender, meaty bite along with perfectly crispy fries! the duck confit was also great, tender and nestled atop crispy potato rosti. the staff were also really friendly and made our dining experience very enjoyable. we will be back for sure!
