Fun Toast (One Raffles Place)

The toast was not crisp enough but I’ve had better toast from this fun toast outlet before, where it was more crispy. The kaya is not bad! Bun was average. Probably would not revisit, unless I need a quick breakfast (their outlets are pretty conveniently located).

Good thing that this almost-80-yrs-old chain can have a successful outlet at high-rental One Raffles Place. Overpaid yuppies can go to Jewel and the likes, but the simple people can save by having their coffee or tea breaks here. The staff is very friendly, there are more tea choices than at the yuppie stores, and prices are much more reasonable.

Because I had craving for kaya butter toast. But why is fun toast's 20cents more than yakun (this was $2.80). Hahaha #auntytanstrikes

A surprising good set lunch. The rendang tasted as good as those from Nasi Padang. The beef is tender and tasty. For $6.80 including coffee/tea it's good value for money. Posted by Ah Leong San 2015 September 25
