So so so many salad bars in the area. Tried this because I didn't wanna walk too far from where I worked, and I found it quite satisfying. $8.70 for a small salad, with a choice of 6 ingredients. I went with beetroot, pumpkin, tofu, 2 kinds of chicken, and tomatoes. They add lettuce to every salad too. A biiit stingy with ingredients for the small salad, but it still managed to fill me up.
This did the double duty of tasting good while making me feel like a goody two shoes 😋😇
I could tell that quality was paramount in my $8 medium-sized salad. Apart from the base of fresh lettuce, I got to choose 6 items from the wide array of excellent ingredients that included premium ones such as grilled zucchini/courgettes, baby asparagus and beetroot. Was persuaded to top up $2 to get a serving of tuna in brine which I didn't mind as it boosted the goodness of my salad. Of the range of dressings, I went for the yogurt pesto. Everything was tossed thoroughly together in it before being transferred to a bowl.
If I worked in the Asia Square area, this would be one of the places I'd frequent for sure.
Pretty decent portion of meats though flavours didn't marry that well but overall delicious and healthy meal.
my favourite salad store- they're always 100% consistent in the freshness of their ingredients. and they serve huge portions even though you pay a total of less than ten dollars! their homemade sauces are unique and fresh, and you'll always leave the store completely full and satisfied.
Pancetta, Ham, Bacon with Rocket, Honey Mustard sandwiched between 2 slices of toasted white, wholemeal or rye bread. Request for well toasted for extra flavour! Location is next to Fresh+
