The description on the tag that came with this was “moist soft cake with fruity brandy” - it was indeed soft and moist! Texture was really nice. Loved the depth of flavour. A warm/spiced flavour, slightly alcoholic & sweet. Think fruit cakes have a bad rep bc of the dry crumb / unpleasant dried fruit bits (that get stuck in ur teeth 😢) but this cake has none of that. Bot sure what exactly is in there but there's definitely raisins and figs - big love for figs be of how naturally sweet it is + the crunchy seeds. Everyone at the Christmas party enjoyed it!

Dude said it's recently out of the oven but it's cold. Like pretty damn cold. Texture was very very average too.

This was super moist, has mostly a banana taste w coco shreds. It’s rly super wet leh, not rly the usual texture of banana cake that I’m used to. It’s decent and not bad by any means, but it’s just not to our preference.

These freshly baked scones from Fredos has a crispy exterior that gives in to a fresh, moist and buttery center, with unique flavours like Orange Mascarpone, Gula Melaka pandan. This awaits us after our hike in the nearby Clementi forest ($3.80)

The display of tarts are really tantalising through the price did give me a double take. I tried the Key Lime Tart ($4), Mascarpone Berry tart, chocolate tart (both were around $9+) and the Gula Melaka Macadamia cookies ($15+). I’ll like to say that the ingredients quality COULD BE the reason why they justify the price, especially the fresh fruit tarts. However, I thought the tart bases lack the buttery flavour and the chocolate tart was a little underwhelming with a heavy handed cocoa powder.

*Note: my taste palate leans towards dark bitter chocolate at a sweet spot of 65%-72% cocoa. So please use that as a gauge of my taste perspective.

While you walk in to this shop and find that everything is priced so expensive - you might just give up finding something to buy but do try the butter scones .

Moist and not too sweet . One of the cheaper items at 3.80 .
