[CLOSED] Frankie's Peanut Pancake

My favourite pancake for years as this is the 1st I've seen with mixed peanut & red bean and the price remains as $1 all the time!

Recommend this to my ex-colleagues and they all love it!

This was freshly made, so it was still warm in my container when I reached the office. Chewy but a little mushy, filling was not too sweet so that’s good! Decent, wna try the red bean one next time

Hidden in one small corner facing the Telok Ayer Park. Selling at $1 per piece, I could say the flavour itself doesn’t taste a lot. The pancake itself was too doughy without any intense taste, but just the peanut that bring the sweetness.

Those who works around this area should know Uncle Frankie’s famous $1 pancakes in his very tiny shop beside a corner Kopitiam right opposite the Chinese temple. When I dropped by previously, he was preparing a company’s order about 3 huge (cake) boxes !

What’s lovely is that his pancakes are always hot - maybe because people keep buying and he keeps making them? And that peanut filling are always so GENEROUS. ☺️

Get this from a corner of the food center during lunch time and it is hot and fresh! Very chewy with lots of peanuts in it, enjoy it pretty much as a dessert after lunch, and it only costs $1!
