You get to pair this fried squid with a side of their sauce, and it's chewy altho you have to eat it quickly as the batter loses its crunchiness after some time.

The truffle scent was stronger than its taste, and would prefer if the soup was even thicker in terms of texture!

This is such a local flavour, and this was definitely spicy! Quite a saucey one here, and would be for spice lovers. Only recalled it had a slightly alkaline flavour which I didn't particularly enjoy.

Had always walked past their stall which is located at the basement of 313 Somerset. They are a takeaway-only kiosk, but there are plenty of seats in front of the stall for you to have your food at!

Beefball Bolognese ($9.90)
This was my favourite out of all that we tried! Penne had a nice texture, and I liked that it could easily contain their Bolognese sauce, which was slightly sweet and flavourful. There's also beefballs within which are handmade.

We tried the following:
》Cheesy Potato Croquette Potato Stick |
This starter was made from scratch using russet potatoes and stringy mozzarella then wrapped with potato spaghetti. We really enjoyed the contrast of textures which was truly addictive - crunchy sticks with a soft/cheesy bite to them.

》Seafood Marinara | The red sauce packed with herbs and spices complimented the various seafood on it and gave the dish a robust taste, you can't go wrong with this classic.

》Mussel Blanco | Such a lovely pairing of plump mussels, moreish white wine sauce and bucatini (thick spaghetti-like pasta with a hole in the middle).

》Smoked Salmon Piadini | The contrast of flavours between the rich salmon and natural sweetness from the veggies made this meal simply irresistible.

Overall, a superb meal that certainly satisfied us which combines the diversity of Italian flavours and heartiness of Singaporean home cooking.
