Head still spinning abit so ordered lunch. Only Fish and Seafood congee was available on delivery menu so I decided to try the latter.

Counted 9 clams along with fish slices and prawns. I mixed the Crispy Shrimp Cheong Fun and Prawn Dumplings in the congee to give it a different texture 🤣🤣🤣, still very tasty esp when they had been drenched in the sauce.

Throwback post - Prawn & Fish Congee had became our staple to order since we enjoyed it previously. 2 bowls for 3 of us just nice.

Wanted to try something new and ordered taro dumpling but will give it a miss next time as it is so hard... use it to throw at people will give black eye sia 😅😅😅 Somemore, the used fryer oil (臭油味) aftertaste is so strong after first mouthful.

Tried the carrot cake as well which I tot is pan-fried. I think It is deep-fried instead...

Will stick to steamed items for future visits

Throwback post - Late breakfast / lunch at 5-Star Dim Sum.

Prawn & Fish Congee - this is so delicately flavored and tasty! The prawns are crunchy for all the dishes. Parent like the fish version as well

Shrimp Chee Cheong Fun - The slightly sweet and savory sauce complement it so well. A pity that it is not freshly made upon order, could have been better

Har Gao - Plump, skin slightly on the thicker side, find it nice with the Chee Cheong Fun's sauce

Char Siew Bao - Find it normal. My mum like it though

Dim Sum were alright though from ex-Shangri La Restaurant Chef. Two that stand out were the Crispy Shrimp Cheong Fun $6 which adds a new twist to traditional Cheong Fun. However, the batter at one of the edge was a bit bitter from deep frying else overall the Cheong Fun was interesting. Another was the Steam Prawn Siew Mai $4.50 which was tender and juicy. Fried Fish Congee $4.50 was a fine comfort food with the fried fish slice adding flavour to the silky smooth texture.
