Each at $5.50. Big serving plate. Savoury sauce soaking the crispy egg noodle (Sheng Mian) from zi char stall.
A portion of green vegetables, sliced roasted pork char siew, over the blanched egg noodles dressed in special sauce. A bowl of clear soup with soft and savoury wanton. $5 for this.
Big juicy chicken meat, cold potato salad, hot potato wedges and house salad. Dip the sauce for additional kick. $6.80 is display in the stall. Collect the pager and wait not that long. They offers other western food dishes too.
From Wanton Noodles and Grill in Food Fair at Zhongshan Mall, which has its roots from Hui Kee Wan Ton Noodles that was also situated in Balestier. Overall a pretty palatable plate of wanton mee — noodles were decently springy and laced in a rather bright, tangy sauce though the chili seemed to have lacked kick overall. The Char Siew though dyed, comes in a rather decent portion and size and one could definitely taste the meatiness here. The wantons were reasonably sized as well.
