Feng Food turned out to be a pleasant surprise that surpassed expectations. Both the Deluxe Dry Noodles and the Braised Meat Rice were standout dishes, showcasing flavors and textures that went beyond the usual Taiwanese fare.
The Deluxe Dry Noodles had a perfect QQ texture—chewy yet tender, with a house-made sauce that tied everything together beautifully. Meanwhile, the Braised Meat Rice offered a generous portion of savory, melt-in-your-mouth braised pork atop fluffy rice. This hearty dish felt comforting and indulgent at the same time.
The Deep-Fried Marinated Pork Chop was another highlight. Perfectly seasoned and fried to golden perfection, it delivered a satisfying crunch while remaining juicy inside.
Even the Cucumber with Spicy Garlic, often overlooked at other places, was surprisingly addictive. The refreshing crunch of the cucumber combined with the punchy garlic and spice created an unexpected crowd-pleaser.
I ordered the Guo Miao Mian beef with pork chop as side dish.
The Guo Miao Mian qiuqiu, served with tender beef and tasty soup.
The pork chop tasty and quite tender.
💰$15.5 for noodle and $9.5 for pork chop

𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐤 (3.5 ⭐️; $12.90) - Well-marinated flavourful and succulent pork paired with fried rice, enhanced by their fragrant chili. The rice itself was quite average but enjoyed the texture of fluffy and firm pearl rice.
𝐋𝐮 𝐫𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐚𝐧 (4 ⭐️; $9.50) - Classic order at Taiwanese restaurants and enjoyed their savory and hearty version. The pork belly was on the fattier side which allowed for tender, melt-in-the-mouth bites. Did wish for a tad more sauce to be drizzled onto the rice for added flavour. Paired with sweetened crunchy cucumber, yummy braised egg, and preserved vegetables.
I ordered Lu rou fan for him.
The LRF meat is tender and not too fatty, quite tasty. Served with egg and preserved veggie.
Portion not too big, which is good for my dad.
