Gather the whole family for an indulgent dinner with a view at Gardens by the Bay and impress grandma with star dishes like Cantonese Roast Duck ($26/half), Crispy Prawns with Sweet & Sour Sauce ($26) or Stewed Mee Sua Noodles with Baby Abalone ($30). Burppler Sarah Loke loves how the duck was "tender and succulent", adding on that the "ambience was great, plus some views of the river."

Dancing Crab, which has outlets at Orchard Central and VivoCity, is all about country-style seafood and yes, crabs. Think great tasting seafood boils, lobster rolls, crab cakes, thirst-quenching lemonades, cocktails and yummy beers all packed into a lively and vibrant atmosphere with funky music. As Burppler Regina New puts its, "delicious seafood with nice friendly service. Just be prepared to eat with your hands and get messy!"

If you love all things duck, you don't want to miss this chain of casual dining restaurants, with outlets in PLQ Mall, Resorts World Sentosa, and United Square! Duckland specialises in robust dishes using fresh and premium ducks direct from Ireland. Burppler LoveFood_ LiveLife recommends ordering the Duck Fried Rice ($12), which is "definitely a favourite of mine. Don’t really know how to describe this but it is one fragrant and good plate of fried rice."
The Marmalade Pantry (Novena): 1-for-1 Main & Dessert (Mon-Thu 6pm) (save ~$40)
Chances are you've seen this homegrown bistro around town - after all, they've been serving up modern comfort food here for 18 years! Use Burpple Beyond to enjoy 1-for-1 deals on their premium meat and fish, pastas, risottos, burgers and more. Burppler Athena Khoo tried their Seared Scallop & Prawn Pasta ($28) and commented "Wow. Literally wow. The whole dish is so good. The prawns and scallops were so fresh and I drank the whole prawn bisque down to the very last drop!"
Oriole Coffee + Bar (Somerset): Main Dish (Mon-Thu) (save ~$28)

Oriole is a popular cafe in Somerset with exceptional coffee (try their cold brew Taisho coffee!) and bistro favourites. Burppler Thiam Peng Tan likes the Oriole Truffle Burger ($24), with a "combination of sauteed mushrooms, caramelised onion, melted cheese and truffle aioli that was easy to like." If you're craving pizza, how about the signature Smoked Salmon Pizza ($28) that Burppler Colin Colin ordered? "Loved how the chunks of smoked salmon were so thick and well seasoned. Having capers on the pizza was a nice touch too."
TONITO Latin American Kitchen: 1-for-1 Main Dish (save ~$19)

Visit this casual restaurant in Jewel for a vibrant Latin American feast featuring dishes from Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Cuba and Venezuela. Expect a hearty meal — Nachos Grande with pork sausage and beans, a refreshing Quinoa Grain Salad and Mexican Corn Quesadillas with corn, cheese, mushroom and tomato salsa. Apart from the mouthwatering nosh, "the restaurant also had a nice ambience with the beautiful view of the Jewel fountain," according to Burppler Yu En.
TAAN IZA-BAR: 1-for-1 Main Dish (save ~$13)

In the bustling street of Liang Seah Street is TAAN IZA-BAR, a dining destination for Japanese and Korean cuisine with draft beers and plenty of booze. Expect pasta and rice dishes like the Mentaiko Pasta ($15) and Unagi Fried Rice ($11), both excellent hearty and comforting choices that will make your day better. To pair with your drinks, how about the Truffle Edamame ($7) and Saikoro Steak ($18)? The former has steamed edamame in truffle oil with shio kombu while the latter boasts Angus beef cubes paired with shimeji mushrooms and homemade brown sauce.
The Blue Ginger (Great World): 1-for-1 Main Dish (save ~$25)
For award-winning Straits Chinese cuisine, head to the second outlet of the popular Peranakan restaurant in Great World. Expect flavour-packed classics like Ngo Heong ($14), Ayam Panggang "Blue Ginger" ($16), Pork Ribs Assam ($20), and Kerabu Kacang Botol ($11.50), a spicy winged bean salad that defies the expectations of many. A visit to any Peranakan restaurant is never complete without having a go at their traditional Kueh Kueh ($5) and classic Chendol ($5), with red beans and pandan-flavoured jelly in freshly squeezed coconut milk.
Toby's Estate: 1-for-1 All-Day Breakfast (save ~$20)

It's always brunch time at this quaint cafe along Roberston Quay! Fuel up with their Brekkie of Champions ($24.50), with a platter of eggs any style, maple bacon, vine tomatoes, roast mushrooms, baked beans, sidecar sausage and crispy, fluffy brioche toast or opt for their classic Eggs Benedict Rodyk Style ($21.50) served with smoked salmon. Your sweet tooth will rejoice with Toby's French Toast ($16.50) which sees eggy brioche bread topped with berries compote and served with maple syrup and espresso bacon.
Lao Dong Bei BBQ (Chinatown Food Street): 1-for-1 Buffet (save ~$22.90)
Hidden amongst the variety of stalls along Chinatown Food Street, this kiosk will surely become your next stop for group gatherings! Priced affordably at $19.90 for weekdays and $21.90 (now twice as cheap with Burpple Beyond!) for weekends, feast on quality cuts of Pork Belly, Black Pepper Beef Slice, Fresh Seafood with their Clear Chicken Soup Base.
