Oktoberfest 2021: Cheers To These German Platters and Menus

No better time to drink beer, dance, and feast on German delicacies than Oktoberfest, which runs from now till late October at these restaurants and cafes. Prefer to enjoy all of these at home? Takeaway options are also available!

Love drinking, feasting and making merry? It's Oktoberfest season everywhere, which is why we've come up with a list of spots to make yours a memorable one, complete with sizzling sausages, crispy roasts and of course, plenty of beer. Prost!

The Rebel Company Cafe & Bar

The Rebel Company Cafe & Bar is one of our fave spots for affordable beers and wines as well as sharing platters and pizzas. This Oktoberfest, they've come up with a special festive Oktoberfest Rebel Platter ($88) that includes their crowd-favourite Pork Knuckle, Pork Ribs, Spicy Curry Wurst Sausage, Pork Schnitzel, Sauerkraut, Curry Fries, and 4 full pints of Paulaner Weissbier or Munich Hell Lager!

Look no further than Brotzeit for an authentic Oktoberfest experience. This trusted German restaurant will be serving an enticing Oktoberfestplatter ($138) that's a feast for the eyes and the palate, with fork-tender Pork Knuckle, honey-glazed Pork Ribs, pork and beef Stadtwurst sausage, as well as a Thuringian sausage that's smoked and semi-dried. Brotzeit is also serving the official Erdinger Oktoberfest Bier, a limited-edition brew with smooth malty aromas and lively bitterness!

The much-awaited Oktoberfest returns to Frieda with free-flow craft beer to go with all-you-can-eat German fare. For $38, drink all the beer on tap you can for a good and proper celebration. There will also be U-Boot Beer cocktails for $12, with beer served in a rock glass and topped off with a Jagermeister shot. Let's not forget the food - for $55, enjoy one pint of beer and free-flow food for 2 hours, including items like Bavarian Sausage Salad, German Weisswurst with sweet mustard and pretzels, Baked Camembert, half Pork Knuckle, and Nurnberg Sausage!

Eleven Strands

 

Eleven Strands may not be the first restaurant that comes to mind when you hear "Oktoberfest", but here they are with a fantastic Pork Knuckle Platter ($68) that features Roasted Pork Knuckle, Herbed Sausages, Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Cauliflower, and Pommery Cream Sauce. Add on beer at two for $22 and choose from Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc or Asahi Super Dry.

Paulaner Bräuhaus Singapore

Nothing like an extravagant Oktoberfest menu at Paulaner Brauhaus to make this October a memorable one. We're talking free-flow beer promos from Sunday to Thursdays at only $45, including their freshly-brewed O-Fest beer and Paulaner classics like the Paulaner Brauhaus Helles pale lager. On the food front, go ham on the Chef's specials such as Half Roasted Oktoberfest Duck ($39.90), Grilled Veal Cutlet ($44.90) or an Oktoberfestpfandl platter ($41) with the best of everything.

Crossroads Cafe (Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel)

 

You don't want to miss the Oktoberfest celebrations at Crossroads Cafe, where you can experience Bavarian culture to the fullest with specialities such as Crispy Pork Knuckle, Grilled Pork Bratwurst and sea salt and mustard pretzels. The best part? You can enjoy three pints of Erdinger Draft Beer from $20. Staying home? They have some yummy Okterberfest takeaway specials to check out as well.

Ellenborough Market Café

Get a taste of traditional German fare in this four-day outdoor festivities in a convivial atmosphere! Their curated Oktoberfest menu sees a special Wiesn Platter ($44) loaded with grilled German sausages, pork knuckle, roasted chicken, sauerkraut, potato salad, pretzels and many more. It isn't complete without beer, so gulp down glasses of Erdinger Weissbier at $8 a glass or $10 a pint.
