Want to take your furry friend out for a meal but unsure of where to go? Here are some suggestions!

If you’re a new pet owner, you might not have sussed out the best pet-friendly haunts just yet—fret not, because we’ve curated a list of some cafes and restaurants where your companion will feel more than welcome at. Who knows, these might just become your regular hang-out spots in the future!

The Garden Slug Petite

For Western-fusion Comfort Food
Serving western-fusion comfort food in generous portions, The Garden Slug which has two outlets (in Telok Kurau and Kovan), is one of Singapore’s longest-standing pet-friendly restaurants. They aim to bring hearty food that’s made fresh from scratch to the masses, and that they do! Indulge in their All-Day Breakfast dishes including the ever-popular Double Eggs On Brioche Toast ($15.90) that features poached eggs served with kale and hollandaise sauce, on top of a toasted brioche toast. Do note that this is only available at their Kovan outlet.

Offshore Bar & Grill

For A Seafood Barbecue
Barbecues, ice-cold beers, and the seaside—there’s truly no better combination, is there? Gather your friends (and their pets) for a sumptuous feast at Offshore Bar & Grill where you’ll find fresh seafood and free-flow drinks. Opt for the Happy Feast Buffet & Barbecue (starts at $69++ per pax) for a spread of seasonal seafood, a whole sea bass, freshly cooked meat, vegetables, and various sauces. You can even choose from the steamy shabu-shabu or the smoky charcoal to prep your dishes! Then, all that’s left to do is eat to your heart’s content.

Sarnies

For Aussie Style Grub
Sarnies probably need no introduction by now! Their genuine Aussie style grub and aromatic coffee blends are already a hit with cafe-goers around the island. With an expansive menu that covers everything from massive salads and sandwiches to roasted in-house coffee and punchy dinner plates, it's easy to see why.

If you can’t decide on what to get, you can always opt to pimp your own breakfast—choose from various bread options like the Country Sourdough ($2.50), English Muffin ($2.50), or the Sesame Bagel ($4), and pair these with 2 Cage-Free Eggs, either scrambled, fried or poached ($6). Don't forget to add on a side of Grilled Cherry Tomatoes ($4), Wilted Spinach ($5), and Roasted Mushrooms ($5) as well. Now that’s what we call a hearty breakfast!

Tiramisu Hero

For Tasty Tiramisu Treats
As their name suggests, Tiramisu Hero is best known for their tiramisu desserts. Here, you’ll find that they serve more than just the classic tiramisu flavour. In fact, they’ve got all sorts of different renditions to choose from—for instance, the fragrant and bittersweet Matcha ($7.50), the tart and fragrant Yuzu ($7.50), and the gingerbread-like Speculoos ($7.50).

If you’re huge on alcohol, you’d most definitely like their Premium flavours! We’d recommend you try the White Russian ($9.50) that’s made with vodka, coffee liquer, and cream or the Honey Soju ($9.50) which features a mildly sweet floral aroma with the punch of Korean soju.

The Social Space

For Earthy Smoothie Bowls
As a multi-concept space created to inspire social-impact champions, The Social Space is all about promoting greater awareness when it comes to sustainability and conscious living; you’ll find that their cafe, fair trade retail area, and even their nail salon, utilises eco-friendly products. These include the charming natural coconut husk bowl which they serve their popular smoothie bowls in. Patrons are rather fond of The Hulk ($14), an earthy, energy-boosting bowl that’s topped with granola, toasted coconut flakes, and seasonal fruits. We reckon this would be the perfect morning pick-me-up!
