From Mr. Sheng Jian, a new Chinese eatery located along Liang Seah Street that serves up Sheng Jian Bao and Noodles along with side dishes. Currently in its soft launch phase, Mr Sheng Jian is serving a limited menu for their Sheng Jian Bao offerings while running a discount of 20% off on the final bill.

The Classical Flavour Sheng Jian Bao comes with minced pork and soup broth within; think of it as a pan-fried version of the Xiao Long Bao in a slightly bigger size. The exterior comes crusty and not too thin nor thick, while it was filled with a reasonable amount of pork for a meaty flavour; the soup broth within eagerly bursts out of the Sheng Jian Bao for a savoury flavour with a single bite. Pretty enjoyable.
