A very satisfying bowl! The beef strips and fish skin crisps were really tasty and the creamy onsen egg just tied everything together beautifully. Yum. I wouldn’t classify this as a healthy rice bowl since well, it didn’t come in a bowl and there weren’t any veggies. It’s definitely a guilty pleasure though.

The Burpple Beyond 1-for-1 set also comes with miso soup and a drink. The miso soup was average, didn’t have any ingredients in it. We had a choice between canned coke or ice lemon tea for the drinks.

Overall - with the Burpple deal, this is an affordable and delicious choice for the Tanjong Pagar area. We visited on a weekday evening and managed to get seats for two. There is a small seating area in the shop, but we noticed most customers were getting takeaways, so seats were easy to get. Service was great too.
