I chose to have beetroot fusilli to go along with pan-seared scallops, topped with shredded nori and wasabi tobiko for that extra burst of flavour. Scallops were plump and nicely seared. The mentaiko sauce is light, creamy and coated the fusilli well but I couldn’t taste the flavours of beetroot in my beetroot pasta. This fared so much better than the truffle cacio e pepe but prices are a little steep which I feel is only worth trying with the Beyond deal.
