Deluxe Cheeseburger with Beer Combo 23$
Chilli Fries 10$

I’ve never been a burger fan, mostly due to a traumatic experience with Omakase Burger. When we arrived the place was packed full of people. You can tell a place does their food from the heart when many of the patrons are friends of the place and you see staff regularly going up to patrons to give a hi-five or a hug. The service staff was nice to have preempted us on the 40minutes waiting time and when we got our food, Park Bench Deli delivered it in 30minutes. The wait was worth it. While the burger could’ve been warmer (it was not piping hot when we received it, probably cause there was just too many people and assembling of the burgers just took too long) the burger itself was so well-flavoured. The lightly grilled butter-lathered bun encompassed the tender beef patty with pickles and cheese. I’m not a pickle fan (& also slightly regretted not requesting beforehand to remove it) but I gladly wolfed it down, the acidity of the pickle just went so well with the bun and the patty. I heard that the mark of a good cheeseburger is the cheese pull, so I’m happy to report that there was some cheese pulling action going on. The chilli fries came packed with chilli and minced beef and each fry being well tossed in salt. The meal here was definitely the highlight of my Sunday.
