Wah this was very nice!! It’s like a soft warm buttery hug in bread form. I sliced and toasted it so its slightly crisp, but not shatteringly crisp like kamome’s shokupan. But it’s damn pillowy soft and superrrr fluffy, it’s rather enriched and the buttery flavour really comes through, with a subtle honey fragrance. Also quite aerated so it’s almost like a sponge?? The crust has a nice mild burnt flavour. I feel that having this is almost like eating a french toast bc of how buttery and eggy it is. Would recommend!! Definitely want to try their sourdough now after this delicious brioche.
