Most people's ears would prick up at the words "free flow of cocktails" but the desserts at Manhattan Bar's "Adults Only Cocktail Brunch" were impressive too. The standouts for me were the Margarita Dome (which coupled a refreshing burst of zestiness with a crisp biscuit base), and the aromatic and apologetically alcoholic Negroni Creme Brûlée. I also enjoyed the delightful duo of cronuts (such lightness!) as well as the luscious Red Velvet Trifle.
