All 3 of my planned options for lunch at chinatown complex were closed, so I ventured around the hawker centre and found a queue forming at this stall and I went for it! The caifan is rather decent but I didn’t find it particularly amazing. The rice is average; sweet and sour pork was alright but I would prefer if it were crunchier. I liked the cabbage w black fungus and carrots which were nicely cooked - soft but slightly crunchy, as well as the ytf items (2 types of stuffed taupok) which were juicy with a bouncy paste. Can’t say I would be compelled to walk 15 mins here just for this, but it is rather light on the palate and tasted quite homely so that’s probably what the folks in the queue were queueing for. Worth a try!
