For this week, black beauty tea 黑美人 is available till 11/12. Hopefully one would become 美 (beautiful) after having it? 😉 Served along with salted cornflakes and black sesame pearls, the softserve was smooth but a tad icy for my liking. The black beauty tea had a lingering and distinct tannic flavour that comes as a fragrant, aromatic experience to tea lovers.l (and I m glad to be one 🙆🏻‍♀️). The salted cornflakes, besides contributing to a pleasant crunch factor, also provided yet another dimension of flavour, with its subtle saltiness. The black sesame pearls (hidden below the softserve, swipe twice to view) was chewy with a surprisingly distinct roasted flavour. Not a black sesame fan hence I wont be able to provide a good judgement for this, but the characteristic roasted flavour was distinct IMO. Perhaps not for the hardcore black sesame fans though .
