@LesAmisGroup latest addition to its stellar portfolio of restaurants is @Kissajin at Shaw Centre.
This is definitely the most interesting omakase experience Iโve had! We were welcomed with a game of โyoyo tsuriโ - where we got to hook up a balloon that is popped over a bowl to reveal a smooth orb of ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ ๐๐จ๐๐ฎ โ this is served with a zesty yuzu dressing. Certain courses are served to the table using an โokamochiโ โ a three-tier box traditionally used to deliver food from door to door.
Helmed by Chef Ryo Yamaguchi alongside Executive Chef Makoto Saito, @Kissajin proffers an experiential menu that is refreshed quarterly to highlight prime seasonal produce.
I tried their specially-curated eight-course dinner omakase menu. At $๐๐++ per pax, you can expect the following:
1๏ธโฃ ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ฌ
Tazuna Sushi, Smoked Scallop, charcoal-battered Karage, red bean-filled Mochi
2๏ธโฃ ๐๐๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฎ ๐๐๐ง๐๐จ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค | ๐๐ ๐
