From Atmstatel, a new deli/restaurant situated at South Beach right beside Fynn's. Currently it serves a limited number of mains, pasta as well as sandwiches and pizza — there is a set lunch menu which includes soup/salad with a choice of main/sandwich/pizza/pasta and their homemade iced lemon tea; the price is subjected to whichever main course is chosen.

Described in the menu as Barramundi, Red & Yellow Capsicum and Onions, this is one of the more memorable Barramundi dishes I have had thus far (though it's not something I would order on a regular basis). The barramundi was fresh, flaky and crusted on the skin, while the flavours were lifted with just a dash of herbs as well as salt and pepper which makes it taste simple yet sophisticated — still pretty clean without being overly excessive. The accompanying peperonata could be eaten both ways; by itself or top it off with the bread (which is amazing by itself by the way; crusty, crisp and light — freshly baked in-house). It adds that tangy flavour and a little crunch which gives the dish a contrast in terms of texture and flavour which compliments the fish nicely. A brilliant dish, with a good balance of flavours which at never at one point felt excessive — simple, heartfelt and refined.
