After raving about Yuki Onna's Make Your Own Bowl (MYOB) dons, I decided to try their beef and foie gras signature hot bowl. *
I was a little disappointed. At $22.90, I was expecting chunky-sized char grilled beef but it was instead served with thin slices of beef. Both the beef slices and foie gras were also not charred enough. The serving was large and the yuzu kosho sauce with onsen egg was tasty but it was a case of quantity vs quality. I would have preferred less bulk but better cuts of meat.

I think I will stick to their raw dishes which I actually do like!
