Chirashi bowl that is not only aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but delicious as well. Fresh and of great quality, Omoté really whips up chirashi dons that are a bang for the buck. The dashi gave a very light but savoury umami flavour, on top of the fresh, natural sweetness from the chunks of fish. My choice of spicy dashi was adequately fulfilled with the kick of spiciness. However, I did realise that there was another option of their Omoté bowl for only $12.80, which seems to offer the same amount of deliciousness except for the spicy kick, making this seem much less worth it. I’d recommend the Omoté bowl over this, considering the additional $7 you have to just for additional spice. I would personally just request for chilli powder or add a bit more wasabi.
