Muah Chee
Kim satay 01-06
Old airport market

It takes a regular to know that this tiny muah chee stall exists because it is almost hidden under the Kim satay signboard that no one would notice .

I spotted this stall years back and finally had the chance to come back to this Hawker for this fabulous muah chee . This is literally my favourite muah chee stall .

The texture is spot on - chewy( but also tender ) and has a good bite and is made freshly upon order. The peanut and sugar coating is aromatic without being too sweet .

I have tried the famous muah chee at the Toa Payoh bus interchange food court and prefer the muah chee at old airport for its simple but perfect execution . The muah Chee at Toa Payoh has an additional shallot oil coating which I feel is a little greasy and in a way too overpowering .

I like the traditional taste of the muah chee at old airport and it is a really nice way to end a meal with some finger licking moochies.

I made an observation that most patrons are women . Each standing in line patiently for their box of happiness and then devouring it immediately ( almost ) all on their own .

Is this a girl’s thing 😋????
