Got the BKT, pig trotters, tau pok, salted veg... and the randomest of all, a teochew steamed fish. An interesting coffeeshop place near Boon Kang MRT which has both the typical BKT dishes and those dishes you usually order with teochew mui (their squid was unfortunately sold out).

Found the peppery BKT soup too oily, instead gravitated towards the clear broth in the steamed fish, which was cooked with lots of ginger and that sour plum thing, resulting in a sour-ish broth with the sweetness from the fish meat. Nice nice love to come back for the fish. I think the fish was only $28? Which according to my parents is damn cheap (Ah Orh's fish was ~$40 ermahgaad).
