Was waiting for my Kopi when I saw the homebaker coming in and arranging the cakes in the display cabinet — thought I might as well give them a try. The Matcha Azuki Chiffon Cake is claimed to be baked with no added preservatives etc. — a pretty light, bouncy and fluffy cake that whiffs of a rather light hint of bitter matcha flavours at the end. Quite liked that the azuki beans here are earthy with just a soft touch of sweetness; soft to chew on so the texture goes pretty well with the cake overall!
