The deep fried pork was crunchy, but rather bland on it’s own - the ideal piece was one that was half-coated in the sweet & slightly tangy sauce, so that there’s flavour + crunch. Would have preferred if the meat was at least seasoned just a bit, and the sauce more tangy. The ratio of batter to meat was ~1:1, I was ok bc at least it was freshly fried and crunchy, but it lacks that meatiness. Also the pork was kinda dry, sad. Carrots were raw af, but the raw onions & cucumber were nice to chomp on, as some sort of a palate cleanser. It’s an ok dish I guess, I wasn’t dissatisfied but I’ve had better.
