Ocean Trophy ($18.90)

Had @samacurrysg ‘s Ocean Trophy served with the Shrimp curry soup base. The soup base was not the typical thick japanese curry but more like a spicy shrimp soup stock. I loved it! The bowl was full of umami and shrimp sweetness! The seafood included prawns, squid, scallops and blue mussels, served with the standard assorted vegetables. I would suggest raising the level of spiciness past the level 20 mark as it is easily handled in Singaporean standards. I would probably liken this to a more refined version of our local prawn mee soup!
